YUCK! - found this crawling around my walls one day. It is a Huntsman spider (Heteropoda venatoria). About the size of the palm of my hand.

Note to photography students out there : when taking photos of large arachnids, use red-eye reduction (That is why there is a large bright spot on its head) ;)
